Modalities and deadlines of cancellation

Health insurance ( LAMal )

• Potential date for cancellation: December 31st of the same year
• Deadline for cancellation: your letter must be received by your health insurance at the latest on November of the same year (the postmark deadline is not valid proof).

Complementary health insurance (LCA)

• Potential date for cancellation: 31st December of the same year as long as you respect the terms and conditions of your policy regarding the minimum deadline for cancellation.
• Deadline for cancellation: 3 months before the year end of each year, If your premium increases,the deadline is mentioned in the terms and conditions of your insurance policy.
